Published by IANA and the Eno Foundation in 1999, this edition has 501 indexed pages in a paperbound format. The book describes every aspect of intermodal transportation including historical development, evolution and current (1999) practices with text, tables, photos and graphs. It is very comprehensive. Te book is in very good used condition with no marks or tears. It has slight edge wear.

The 483 page book (includes a CD with lecture notes) covers the aerodynamic subject in great detail. It was used in the development and testing of stack train designs by Greenbrier Intermodal executives. Published in 2009 by Springer-Verlag, the book has 308 figures and 52 tables plus an author index.
