Between the 1960s and 1970s the authors captured western railroading in this 80 page index B&W paperbound volume with turbines, mountains, F units, E units, electric motors and lots more. Published in 1975 by Darwin Publications, this book is in very good used condition.

The Midland Railway: A Colorado Midland Guide and Data Book by Mel McFarland (W 9)

This is a tribute to the Colorado Midland which succumbed in 1922. In 350 page, the author details the history from 1886 with B&W images, drawings, maps, rosters and schedules. Published by Pruett Publishing in 1980, this book is in very good used condition with a plastic covered dust cover.

This hardbound pictorial guide provides an entertaining history of the many unique railways in Colorado in over 153 pages with many artful color images, 30 maps and a directory for contacting railroads. Published in 2002 by Voyageur Press, the book is in very good used contion with full color dust cover and no marks or tears on the pages or cover.

Filled with a wide ranging assortment of historical black and white images, maps and a full blooded history of these lines, this book covers it all. Originally published by Howell-North in 1958, this volume is the 4th printing from 1964 on high quality paper. The volume is in very good condition. The dust cover shows signs of edge wear.

In addition to the railway, the book features coverage of geology, mining and nature in the territory served. Published by Western Guideways, Ltd., this is the 4th printing of 2006. The condition is like new.

This 148 pages volume serves a a guide to anyone interested in visiting the many abandoned narrow gauge railroads in CO. With many maps and photos plus route descriptions, this fine album provides all the details needed for exploration of the many abandoned lines. Published in 1975 by Century One Press, it is very good condition. The jacket is worn at the edges and has scuff marks elsewhere.

This book covers the history of railroads in the mining districts of the Black Hills with 176 pages of text and back and white images written by the premier expert in this field. Published by Superior Publishing Co. in 1964, this first edition in in very good used condition with a mylar cover. The jacket itself has abrasions and some small tears on the edges and binding area.
