This is the story of the Pullman system during the golden years of passenger trains between 1920 and 1955. All major and many lessor passenger trains are examined when over 50 railroads were moving or interchanging over 1000 Pullmans nightly. Over 300 photos from many of America’s leading railway photographers in 415 pages are included in this hardbound black and white history which includes and index by state. Published in 1989 by the Lakme Press, this book is in very good used condition. The jacket has two very slight edge tears and some scuffing.
