]]> Holland, Rupert Sargent, Historic Railroads, 1927. Book is boxed; box has a dramatic color cover image of a locomotive in winter. A 1963 house fire deposited soot on part of the box cover and other areas of it, but the book itself was protected and has no soot. Jacket is a parchment-like patterned paper with some age-darkening and small tears. The book has a sound binding with no damage or shelf wear. Endpapers and title page have stylized color images of railroads and industry. 343 pages.
