Southern Pacific Air Freight was authorized by the former Civil Aeronautics Board to act as an air freight forwarder in domestic and in overseas and foreign air transportation. As of 1977, it operated at less than full capacity, handling traffic through the San Francisco International Airport to destinations within the continental United States and, occasionally, to overseas and foreign destinations.
