This 271 page book was published in 1982. Beebe described it as,  “…the loneliest and most improbable of all short lines.” From 1880 until 1960, this narrow-gauge line served the Nevada and California  dessert with a few towns strung along the 300 miles. The book has B&W images, drawings and maps. It is indexed and has a bibliography. The book is in like-new condition with a plastic sleeve over the paper jacket.
