Southern Pacific’s Golden Empire 1954-1958 by Hungerford and Stewart (W 42)

The color photography by the authors includes 500 images of the SP and short lines in California during the transition from steam to diesel power. It includes images in Oregon and Mexico. The book has a bibliography and an index. It was published by the Southern Pacific Historical and Technical Society in 2011. The book was edited by Joe Dale Morris and Rod Crossley. The title is in fine condition and has a paper jacket with very minor edge wear.
