This album has been signed by Mead Kibbey and contains black and white images of the Central Pacific during construction between 1864 and 1969. This fine album includes extensive commentary both about the construction and process required to produce the photos in 237 pages. Maps of the route between San Francisco and Ogden are included on pages 219-230. Published by the California State Library Foundation in 1996, this book is in fine used condtion and lacks a dust jacket.
