This book covers the history of railways in Idaho and Montana with a focus on the Utah & Northern and successor the standard gauge Oregon Short Line and also the obscure Gilmore & Pittsburgh in Montana. In 216 B&W pages, the authors use extensive text, historical images, schedules, ephemera and maps to tell these fascinating histories. Published by the Colorado Rail Museum in 1981, this volume is in fine used condition with a paper jacket with very small, tears at the edges.
