The American Railroad Passenger Car Part 1 by John White (W 7)

This large format paperback 371 page tome describes American railway passenger cars from 1830 through the 1960s. B&W images and drawings help tell the history of a vast variety of equipment. Noted railway historian John White has produced two volumes (see separate listing for Part 2) which define the details and comlexities of a huge variety of rolling stock. This book is in used condition and was published by John Hopkins University Press in 1978.
