This is the story of the Southern Pacific and its relationship with California’s most important city. SP was the engine that transformed southern California from raw land to a megapolis. The book has 585 B&W photographs and 33 original maps. The book has endnotes, a bibliography and an index. The book is in very good used condition with a jacket, some minor wear marks and not other marks or damage. Published in 2002 by Golden West Books with 286-pages.
