The Train of Tomorrow was a concept train built in 1947 by General Motors to promote the sales of EMD diesel locomotives. The train included a dome-sleeping car and toured the United States. IThe train was sold to the Union Pacific. t is illustrated with over 200 photos, drawings, and documents. Published in 2007 by the Indiana University Press, this book is in very good condition and has a plastic sleeve to protect the jacket.
