The Western Maryland Railway by Roger Cook and Karl Zimmerman (W)

This fine 332 page history of the Western Maryland begins in 1852 and ends with the takeover by the Chessie System in 1973. A chapter entitled “Fragments” discusses events subsequent to Chessie’s takeover. Illustrated with over 400 black and white images, has a bibliography and an index. Originally published in 1982 by Garrigues House, this is a revised edition from 1992. The book is in like new condition including the jacket.
